||Deanne Jackson grew up in the north central part of Alberta, and still continues to reside there. She has always had a great passion for art, and started painting in 1996.
Deanne enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects and styles, and has completed many commissioned pieces. She has also created the Fallen Four painting, in memory of the four RCMP officers from the tragedy that happened in the Mayerthorpe area in 2005.
Taking trips to New York to study incredible works of art has given Deanne great inspiration and pushed her to new levels. She has taken courses from modern masters Robert Johnson and Sherri McGraw. Deanne has attended Pro’s Art School in Edmonton since 2003 and is instructing there occasionally since 2009. She also spent several years instructing in her home and art clubs in and around the community.
Creating paintings that send the viewer unforgettable messages of emotion and energy is Deanne's passion as she tries to go beyond just making a picture by making it look and feel as real as possible, a feeling she once experienced from a painting in New York.
A lot of Deanne's success is owed to her wonderful husband, family and
friends for all their support, and looks forward to a long successful career
